  Key Responsibilities: Overseeing transition, PfA related Curriculum, Gatsby Benchmarks and PAL compliance, organising Transition events

  Daniela monitors and oversees the transition process at Walton Leigh which includes organising events such as the Careers / Next Steps Fair and provides advice on the most appropriate next steps for the leavers. Daniela oversees Daily Living Skills & Work Related Learning curriculum as well as Preparation for Adulthood. School compliance with Gatsby Benchmarks and PAL statement are monitored by Daniela.

  Key Responsibilities:  Parent contact for transitions

  Gerrie manages community learning including educational and additional visits as appropriate for each class.  She is also responsible for organising and maintaining college links and work experience opportunities for students. Her role includes communicating with external providers, ensuring suitability of their offer for students. She provides information to parents about what their child has access to as part of Gatsby Benchmark 6 (Experiences of Workplace). Risk Assessments for community learning are also overseen by Gerrie.
